- Start > Control Panel > Network- and Internet Connections > Create a connection to the network at your workplace
- Virtual Private Network connection > Next > Company Name (Hideway) > Next > Hostname (vpn1.hideway.eu) > Add shortcut to the desktop (check
it) > Finish - Open the newly created VPN dektop shortcut and click on the Properties option.
- Open the "Networking" tab. Change the "VPN-typ" from "Automatic" to "PPTP-VPN" and click "OK".
- Enter username and password now and establish the connection by clicking on connect.
NOTE:
Error 691: Enter username and password correct again.
Error 741: Change the VPN-typ as described above.
Error 769: On the "General" tab in the "Properties" menu of the connection, change the hostname from "vpn1.hideway.eu" to "83.65.30.29".
