please check that the following applies if you are using ...

... OpenVPN:
- OpenVPN has been installed as described on our homepage:
      http://www.hideway.eu/menu.php/install.html
- OpenVPN port change (http://www.hideway.eu/forum/faq/port-194-is-blocked/msg62/#msg62) does not help
- OpenVPN is not blocked or restricted by any firewall you may use
- the connection has been established with the correct account (d/t/rXXXXX)
- no other VPN connection is used when connecting to hideway
- You are successfully connected through our VPN
    (VPN Check on our homepage: Customer Service / VPN Check (https://www.hideway.eu/english.php?subaction=check_vpn))

... PPTP:

Hello,

setting the DNS is not necessary.
For example, if you are using a blocked DNS server, webpages cannot be displayed.

please try to use the standard DNS server again and let us know if it is working for you.

when i use not google dns its not working

Hello pooryak,

it is possible that it has not been working before, as we found a mistake in DNS request handling. However, the DNS handling has been fixed. Therefore should the standard DNS server settings also work for you now.
