Installing and running OpenVPN on Vista is actually a bit "tricky", especially because of the many security alerts Vista displays.
If you have been using Vista for a while, you will know that this not only happens with OpenVPN but with many other third-party programs too.
So here are a few ideas how to solve Vista problems ...
- Always start OpenVPN "as administrator". To do so, first left click on the OpenVPN icon; then right click and select "Run as administrator" from the pop up.
- Confirm all security alerts either by "Run", "Continue" or "Unblock".
