Uninstall then Install OpenVPN again.
open Configuration file, Find "remote vpn1.hideway.eu 1194 udp" add # and one blank before this line.
Find "# remote vpn2.hideway.eu 443 tcp" and remove # and blank after #.
save Configuration file and try again.

Sorry I don't know how to confugure your modem, Please read it's manual and find how to forward port.

i do . i have the same useless modem lol , ok heres what you got to do type in your ip addreess then click enter as you want to visit some site , then for user name and password put admin for both , then from the left menu go to advanved menu then extract it , then clock on NAT  then Port triggering  , there it is, iv had such as hard time figuring it out . good luck
